The configuration script that can be used to configure doas_slotrange records is createSlotRange.
Once the dimensions of the RealTime database (RTDB) tables have been defined (configured by AVEVA personnel), and all system records have been defined, the configuration script createSlotRange.csc can be used to configure all doas_slotrange records. If no options are selected, the ranges are spread evenly among the systems. However, an optional file can be used to determine how the slot ranges are divided. This file is specified by using the -f filename option. The file must contain one row for each system and have the following syntax:
system_Name percentage
The percentage must be an integer and the total allocation must add up to 100.
The total number of points allowed for each table can be examined by running listdb.exe, or by examining root.txt.
The script creates the slot range configuration in the doas_slotrange.init file. The dbll utility can then be used to load the slot range configuration file.
If you choose to use a file to override the default per-system point allocation fractions, you must use the correct capitalization when specifying the system names.
