Follow this procedure to prevent the system from logging network connection release events. Such events do not contain critical information and can quickly fill up event logs on active systems.
To disable the logging of network connection release events
-
In the %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings directory, either create or open the RealTime_InhibitConnectionEvent.json file.
-
In the following line, change false to true:
"RealTime" > "INHIBIT_NETWORK_CONNECTION_RELEASE_EVENT": false
When set to true, the following message no longer appears in the Event Summary window in the event of a connection release event:
Network connection to <x.x.x.x> port <yyyy> released
-
Save the file.
-
Restart the RealTime service.
