Note: For information on overriding default configuration settings, refer to Modify configuration settings.
The following list of configuration settings are used to adjust the behavior of CMX replication. These settings reside in %DNAInstallRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings\RealTime_cmxrep.json.
Setting |
Description |
|---|---|
RUNCMXREP_STARTUP_SLEEPTIME_MS |
The time to wait for the cmxrepsvr process to initialize before loading the subscriptions. |
REP_MIN_REQUIRED_COMPRESSION_LEN |
The minimum data length required for compression. |
DEF_KEYHASH_THRESH |
A positive value indicates the bulk transfer of data to the destination where table hashing is deferred until all records have been received. |
DEF_CLIENT_TIMEOUT_SECONDS |
The number of seconds before a remote procedure call (RPC) call times out. |
DEF_NUM_LZW_BUFFERS |
The number of buffers to allocate for the Lempel–Ziv–Welch (LZW) compression algorithm. Each buffer is 2 MB. |
DEF_SUSPEND_TIMEOUT_SECONDS |
The number of seconds the route has been suspended before an integrity update request is issued. |
DEF_BULK_BLOCK |
Determines whether to block on bulk transfers. Block if set to 1; don’t block if set to 0. |
DEF_COMPRESSION |
Determines whether to compress on transmission. The value can be 0, 1, or 2 for REP_COMPRESSION_NONE, REP_COMPRESSION_RLE, or REP_COMPRESSION_LZW, respectively. |
DEF_FULFIL_TX_INTERVAL_SECONDS |
The number of seconds between each fulfill transmission. |
DEF_FULFIL_KEEPALIVE_INTERVAL_SECONDS |
The number of seconds to wait before sending a "keep alive" message to the destination when the cmxrepsvr process has no data to transmit. |
DEF_FULFIL_BUFFER_SIZE |
The maximum buffer size for each fulfill transmission, in bytes. |
MIN_FULFIL_BUFFER_SIZE |
The minimum buffer size for each fulfill transmission, in bytes. |
DEF_INTEG_HOLD_OFF_TIME_MILLISECONDS |
The delay for issuing the integrity update requests, in milliseconds. |
DEF_MAX_NUM_INTEG_FAILURE |
The maximum number of consecutive integrity update failures. When this value is reached, the cmxrepsvr process waits for the integrity update hold-off time to expire before issuing another integrity update request. |
DEF_XFRQ_STALE_FULFILTIME_SECONDS |
The maximum number of seconds necessary to declare the transfer queue staled when no update is sent to the destination. |
DEF_XFRQ_STALE_UPDATELENGTH |
The maximum number of bytes allowed to be queued on the transfer queue. When this value is exceeded, the queue is declared stale. |
DEF_XFRQ_MON_THROTTLE_MILLISECONDS |
The number of milliseconds the transfer queue monitor will wait before it continues to pull the messages off the queue. |
DEF_XFRQ_DUMP_STATS_THRESH_SECONDS |
The interval where the statistics for the transfer queue service thread are printed out. |
MAX_XFRQ_MESSAGE_SIZE |
The maximum size of the transfer message, in bytes. If this is changed, MAX_UPDATE_SIZE will need to be recalculated. |
DEF_MAX_DST_MESSAGE_SIZE |
The maximum size of the message received at the destination, in bytes. |
MAX_XFRQ_FORMAT_SIZE |
The maximum size of the pre-processed data, in bytes. If this is changed, MAX_UPDATE_SIZE will need to be recalculated. |
MIN_SEND_TIME_MILLISECONDS |
The minimum time interval for sending data to the destination. |
DEF_PROCESSQ_MIN_POOL_SIZE |
The minimum default queue size for the destination queue, in bytes. Note: Always set this value to match the value of DEF_PROCESSQ_MAX_POOL_SIZE. |
DEF_PROCESSQ_MAX_POOL_SIZE |
The maximum default queue size of the destination queue, in bytes. |
DEF_TIMERQ_THREAD_SLEEPTIME_MILLISECONDS |
The number of milliseconds between each queue check. |
MIN_TIME_INCREMENT_MILLISECONDS |
General wait time used by the cmxrepsvr process. |
MAX_UPDATE_SIZE |
MAX_XFRQ_MESSAGE_SIZE + MAX_XFRQ_FORMAT_SIZE + 5024 |
CMXREP_REVERSE_COMMAND_DELAY_MS |
A delay to fix RealTime sync issues (default: 10000 ms). |
