Add existing datatype editor changesets to an existing Management of Change (MoC) package
You can use the Management of Change (MoC) Package tool (dnapackage) to add database editor changesets (RealTime database [RTDB] or display) to an existing MoC package.
Note: You cannot add changesets to a package if the changeset is not closed or if the changeset has already been added to another package that has been published. The dnapackage add command will fail in these scenarios.
To add existing datatype editor changesets to an existing MoC package
-
On the desktop, double-click the Windows PowerShell for DNA shortcut.
Windows PowerShell for DNA opens.
-
Execute the following commands:
set-silo RealTime
dnapackage add --type <type> --changeset <changeset id> --package <package file path>
Where:
-
--type <type> is the name of the datatype provider to which the changeset belongs.
Note: The current valid values are realtime and display.
-
--changeset <changeset id> is the identification number of the changeset to add to the package (for example, an input of 3 would include the change in changeset 3).
Note: The value of the <changeset id> will depend on the format specified by the datatype provider.
-
--package <package file path> is the fully qualified path to the package file you want to use.
