The system digital state set is similar to digital state sets. The former contains over 300 digital states that may apply to any tag. For example, if the interface receives bad data from an interface point, it writes the system digital state Bad Input to the PI server instead of a value. The system digital state set has many undefined states that you can use to add new states.
