Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM) Authorities

Authorities within the Microsoft (MS) Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM) datastore mirror those that exist in Active Directory (AD). ADAM Authorities exist to provide users which exist exclusively in MS ADAM with role-based membership in specific permissions. Membership is identical to that described for the AD Authorities.

In a typical Enterprise installation, the only members of MS ADAM Authorities will be the matching AD Authority.
