AVEVA Enterprise SCADA

Understanding Device Rollup

The Device Rollup (DeviceRollupMonitor) application allows you to configure AVEVA Enterprise SCADA to associate supported database records (analog, status, multistate, rate, rtstring, tank, valve, and pump), and other device records as a common device. This enables the DeviceRollupMonitor application to alert on status changes (alarm, quality, tag presence, and controllability) on a sub-device level.

The DeviceRollupMonitor application only rolls up controllability (flag.isControllable) from the Master Point (refer to Create a Device Path Join (devpathjoin) Record).

When device records and child Device Path Join (devpathjoin) records are configured, validations will be performed, and configuration errors will be flagged in either the Advanced Database Editor (ADE), which prevents it from saving, or the easy eXtended Operator Station (ezXOS) Device Summary display for devices.
