Optional Software Protocol Analyzer (SWANA) output

You can get the ID and command type of requests sent to remotes as output from Software Protocol Analyzer (SWANA). The ID SWANA uses is the same that is used in the oasErrLog, which makes it easy to link the two forms of output to each other.
For backwards consistency the SWANA output is:
-
Optional and is switched off by default
-
Only toggle-able from Omnicomm itself, not directly in SWANA
Note: SWANA output will only contain the ID and command type for outgoing messages in host poll mode.
To toggle the output, open Windows PowerShell on the HOT RealTime/Operational computer and execute the following commands:
set-silo RealTime
fnput omnicomm.<specifier> OCSPAN
Compare the following examples of output from the oasErrLog and from SWANA. You will see that you can directly link the output from each by identifying the Command ID. In addition, SWANA will show what command was being executed.
