Modify the report

Many possible changes are possible using Reporting Services, and information on this is widely available on the internet. The following procedures illustrates how to add a heading to a report, but many more types of modifications can be made.

To add a heading to a report

1. Open the report in Microsoft Visual Studio.

   

2. Right-click on the report and select Add Page Header.

3. Right-click on the header and select Insert > Image.

   

   The Image Properties dialog box appears.

   

4. Select Import.

   The Open dialog box appears.

   

5. Select the image you want to import, and select Open.

   The Open dialog box closes, and the Image Properties dialog box appears again with the Image name populated.

   

6. Select OK.
