Service Properties

The General tab on the Service Properties dialog box displays general information about the service.

The In System field displays which computer the service is currently being hosted on. For more details on the other fields, refer to Service Type Properties - General. Information on the Arbitration and Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) tabs is available in Service Type Properties - Arbitration and Service Type Properties - Relational Database Management System (RDBMS).

To access the Service Properties dialog box

  1. Expand the Systems folder on the Network Management Console (NMC).

  2. Expand the system that hosts the service.

  3. Select the Services folder to highlight it.

    The selected computer’s supported services will appear in the viewing pane to the right.

  4. Right-click the desired service and select Properties from the action menu.

    The Service Properties dialog box will appear.
