The function of this Business Logic Tier (BLT) is to return the names and data types of columns in a specified table.
Syntax
Collect_fields <table_name> [<key_name>]

table_name |
The name of the RealTime database (RTDB) table to be searched. |

key_name |
The value of the key for the specific record in the RTDB table. The procedure returns the names of fields that are currently configured for Historical data collection from the record. This parameter is optional; if it is not specified, the procedure returns the names of fields that may be collected from the specified table. |
Comments
This procedure is used by the XOS Forms Editor to configure Historical data collection of datapoints at regular time intervals. Suitable table names may be listed by executing the Collect_tables procedure.
