Upon connection, the RealTime database (RTDB) and enumeration (EnumDB) schema is queried internally by the Microsoft SQL Engine. The schema is used by the Microsoft SQL Engine to parse and perform error checking on Microsoft SQL statements before it queries the actual data tables.
Optional: By default, all Interactive SQL (ISQL) commands return a maximum of 100 results. To disable the maximum number of results enter maxrows 0, and press Enter.
You can view the table schema by running any of the following Microsoft SQL commands:
-
list tables
-
show tables
-
select * from oa_tables
The command returns the full schema that details system and data tables as shown in the example below.

-
describe
The command shows the structure of the table, which includes the following:
-
The name and data type of the column.
-
The nullability (that is, an indication of whether or not the column can contain null values).
Example: Describing Enumerations
describe tagpriority;

Example: Describing the Almlimit Table
describe almlimit;
