Extended data-quality collection

When you invoke the collect module to record and store point values in the TimeSeries Historical database, there are up to 64 data quality attributes that can be collected and stored with the value of the point. These data quality attributes represent the meta state of the point at the time of collection. A default configuration is provided upon system installation or upgrade.

Important: AVEVA reserves the right to use the first 32 attributes. This reservation of attributes means that the configuration of these attributes should not be altered in any way. Positions 33–64 are available for definition of custom data quality attributes.

The following sections detail how to configure any additional data quality attributes collected with the value of a point when the collect module is invoked using the Advanced Database Editor (ADE).
