Run the SchemaConverter application

The Schema Convert (SchemaConverter) is used for the initial creation of a RealTime database (RTDB), and for upgrades to an existing database subsequent to modification of underlying tables and structures.

The SchemaConverter takes a RTDB schema definition as input and generates header files to conform to that schema. The SchemaConverter will also generate new root.txt and types.txt files that will be used at runtime. The schema definition for the SchemaConverter must be in JSON format. The following procedures assume a generic configuration involving multiple RealTime hosts. Independent of these hosts, and serving as a central source file repository, a dedicated Test and Development System will be used to convert the schema and build project-specific executables for distribution to the RealTime nodes upon completion. Projects modeled on non-standard configurations will be responsible for adjusting this process as appropriate to their circumstance.
