Note: For information on overriding default configuration settings, see Modify configuration settings.

By default, when a Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) sends a number of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) denormalized values, the system flushes the values to zero in order to process them as fresh values with good data quality.

Follow the procedure below to make the system mark IEEE denormalized values as stale so no processing occurs.

  1. In the %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings directory, either create or open the RealTime.json file.

  2. In the following line, change true to false:

    {

    "RealTime": {

    "OMNICOMM_FLUSH_DENORMALIZED_TO_ZERO": true

    }

    }

  3. Save the file.

  4. Restart the RealTime service.
