You can add new computers to the System Object Computer folder.

To add a new computer

  1. In the Network Management Console (NMC), navigate to Systems > <system> > Computers.

  2. Right-click Computers, and select New Computer.

The Create OASyS DNA Computer Wizard opens.

  3. Select Next.

    The General page appears.

  4. Enter the Computer Name and the SCADA Hostname.

The Computer Name must match the name of the computer name in the Domain Controller (DC).

Note: The SCADA Hostname must match an entry in the Domain Name System (DNS) for this computer that is unique across subnets; for example, <hostname>PS for computers that are on multiple subnets. For computers with only one network card, the SCADA Hostname can match the Computer Name.

  5. Select Next.

    The Services page appears.

  6. Leave the Services page blank. This information will be configured when you add a service to the system.

  7. Select Next.

    The ezXOS page appears.

  8. Leave the ezXOS Installed checkbox clear.

Note: ezXOS is not currently available.

  9. Select Next.

The OASyS DNA Computer Property Summary page appears.

  10. Review the OASyS DNA Computer Property Summary page. If the information is correct, select Next to create the new computer.

The Completing the OASyS DNA Computer Wizard page appears.

  11. Select Finish.

The new computer appears in the NMC under the Computers folder.
