Configure the connection

The Connection (connection) table defines communication characteristics such as communication line type and data rate. Each communication record defines a connection that is used to communicate with a remote device. Connection records are configured through the Main tab in the connection Row Edit dialog box.

To configure the connection

  1. Open one of the following:

    • Connection Row Edit dialog box

    • Connection Row Details dialog box.

  2. Configure the applicable fields in the Main tab, and save the new record.
