Change the level of logging the application saves to the log file of the RTU Player application
To change the level of logging the application saves to the log file of the RTU Player application
-
Set the log file level value in the <log4net> <root> <level> setting of the RTUPlayer,log4net.xml file.
By default the initial level is set to "ERROR", as shown in the following example:
<root>
<level value="ERROR" />
<appender-ref ref="rollingfile" />
</root>
<logger name="ConsoleLogger">
<level value="INFO" />
<appender-ref ref="console" />
<appender-ref ref="consolerollingfile" />
</logger>
-
Optional: The amount of logging can be increased accordingly by changing the value of the <log4net> <root> <level> setting. The hierarchy for the file logging is the same as the hierarchy for the console.
