Changes to the existing index

The following examples show the appearance of the existing index and the new optional index.

The existing index appears as shown below:

CollectTagTimeIdx(non-unique, non-clustered)

CREATE INDEX [CollectTagTimeIdx]

ON[dbo].[collect]([tagId], [time])

ON[PRIMARY]

The new recommended optional modified index appears as shown below:

CREATE INDEX [CollectTagTimeIdx]

ON[dbo].[collect]([tagId], [time] INCLUDE [value], [dataQuality])

ON[PRIMARY]

The change can be described as adding the value and dataQuality to the index.

Note: The exact syntax of the command above varies on a partitioned collect table.
