Schedule reports to an output file

Perform the following procedure to schedule your reports to an output file to allow you to work with them at a later time.

To schedule Reports to an output file

1. Open the Report Server Manager using Internet Explorer; for example: enter https://elk64des.elksp4.local/Reports_OASYSHDB into the address bar of Internet Explorer.

   

2. Select DNA Reports.

3. Select a data source; for example, RealTimeDS. All data sources have this icon:

   

4. Select My Subscriptions in the Internet Explorer window to activate the tab below.

   

5. Select New Subscription to access the New Subscription window.

   

6. Select Windows File Share.

7. Select the report scheduling in Subscriptions Processing Options.

   1. Select the When the scheduled report run is complete checkbox or On a shared schedule.

   2. Select Select Schedule to modify the frequency of report printing.

   The Schedule details window appears.

   

   1. Select the desired schedule and the Start and end dates.

   2. Select OK to return to the New Subscription window.

   3. Select the shared schedule from the dropdown menu.

8. Select the Report Parameter Values.

   1. Enter the point name.

   2. Select the alarm type.

9. Select OK.

   When reports are designed, they are formatted for one set of printer options. If you change the printer properties without changing the report formatting, then your printout will not look the way you intend.
