Specify a Management of Change (MoC) changeset using the Batch Tracking Compiler (BTC)

The Batch Tracking Compiler (BTC) can specify a Management of Change (MoC) changeset when connecting to the RealTime database (RTDB). MoC adds a command line parameter to the BTC application.

Use the following parameter to associate executions of the BTC tool with a changeset:

  • -c <changeset id> is used to specify the changeset id when running BTC to record the changes associated with this BTC command run.

Best Practice: Only one execution of the BTC entry should be included per changeset.

Note: If permissive mode is disabled and the command is run without specifying a changeset id, you will receive an error message indicating the change is not permitted in the current mode.
