Configure the PI trend

You can create a trend based on PI Tags through the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA Chart Control Configuration. More information on Chart Control Configuration is available in the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA HMI Display Builder documentation, but the steps that are unique to PI Trends are below.

1. Select PI in the Alias field.

   

2. Select the Data Pattern. Choices are: Trend or InterpTrend.

   Refer to the tables below.

3. Select the Data Granularity.

4. Select the Data Attribute.

   When setting Data Pattern to Trend, only the following configuration combinations are supported:

   		Data Attribute

   Notes: The Hourly/Daily/Monthly/Yearly values are interpolated values, as the Interp Trend.

   Note: X (DQ) means supported with Data Quality. X means supported without DataQuality.
