You can use the Management of Change (MoC) Package tool (dnapackage) to view the MoC zone summary of all packages, whether published to the MoC package store or local. The MoC zone summary is a table indicating the state of each package on all MoC zones.

To view the MoC zone summary of all packages

  1. On the desktop, double-click the Windows PowerShell for DNA shortcut.

    Windows PowerShell for DNA opens.

  2. Execute the following commands:

    set-silo RealTime

    dnapackage zonesummarize [--path <summary path>]

    Where:

    • --path <summary path> is the optional absolute path to which you want to write the MoC zone summary.

Important: The zone summary will always be displayed on the console below the command. If a valid โ€“-path switch is provided, the same MoC zone summary will also be written in Comma Separated Values (CSV) format to the specified file.

Examples

The dnapackage zonesummarize command might result in the following output:

Package title Dev Test Prod

Package 1 Origin Rolled-back

Package 2 Origin Exists

Package 3 Origin

The dnapackage zonesummarize โ€“-path C:\temp\zonesummary.csv command might result in the same console output:

Package title Dev Test Prod

Package 1 Origin Rolled-back

Package 2 Origin Exists

Package 3 Origin

However, the output for the dnapackage zonesummarize โ€“-path C:\temp\zonesummary.csv command will also be written to the file zonesummary.csv. The content of the file will appear as follows when viewed with a text editor:

Package title,Dev,Test,Prod

Package 1,Origin,,Rolled-back

Package 2,Origin,,Exists

Package 3,,Origin,

The content of the file is designed to be viewed in tabular format, typically using Microsoft Excel:
