Follow this procedure to open the Historical Connection Statistics window.

To view hourly, daily, or monthly connection communication statistics

  1. From the Navigation Menu, open the Model Select dialog box (refer to the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA HMI Controller documentation).

  2. On the Model Select dialog box, select DAILY_MONTHLY_CONNECTION.

Note: The above procedure is the default method for accessing the window. Typically, the appropriate personnel would either configure such windows to appear at Login or design a more practical access method.

The Historical Connection Statistics window opens.

  3. Select one of the following:

    • Hourly Remote Statistics (default)

    • Daily Remote Statistics

    • Monthly Remote Statistics

Note: Steps 4 to 8 below are optional. If you select Search without configuring any filters, the Historical Connection Statistics window updates with all statistics for all connections within the selected hourly, daily, or monthly period.

  4. In the Remote field, enter or select the name of a connection's remote.

  5. In the Connection field, enter or select the name of a connection used to communicate with remotes.

  6. In the Group field, enter or select the name of a group encompassing certain remotes and connections.

  7. In the Area field, enter or select the name of an area encompassing certain groups.

  8. Select and configure the Start Time and End Time filters to retrieve data within a certain time range.

  9. Select Search.

The Historical Connection Statistics window updates with data based on the filters and/or selected granularity.
