Note: For information on overriding default configuration settings, refer to Modify configuration settings.

Follow this procedure to configure the default number of days into the past, and seconds into the future, that the application considers valid. Timestamps that fall outside these values are considered bad dates.

To modify the default valid date values

  1. In the %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings directory, either create or open the RealTime_Collect.json file.

  2. In the following line, change the value to the desired number of days into the past that the application should consider valid:

    "RealTime" > "NUM_DAYS_PAST_RECORDS_VALID": 35

  3. In the following line, change the value to the desired number of seconds into the future that the application should consider valid:

    "RealTime" > "NUM_SECONDS_IN_FUTURE_RECORDS_VALID": 300

  4. Save the file.

  5. Restart the RealTime service.
