Configure invalid message types

Note: For information on overriding default configuration settings, refer to Modify configuration settings.

Follow this procedure to configure the message failure types that the system should treat as invalid messages.

To configure invalid message types

1. In the %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings directory, either create or open the remote.CommunicationAlarm.json file.

2. In the line below, add or remove the following message failure types:

   • COMMSTATUS_SE (Security Error)

   • COMMSTATUS_LM (Long Message)

   • COMMSTATUS_SM (Short Message)

   • COMMSTATUS_IM (Illegal Message)

     RemoteCommunicationAlarm > "INVALID_MESSAGE_TYPE": "COMMSTATUS_SE;COMMSTATUS_LM;COMMSTATUS_SM;COMMSTATUS_IM",

3. Save the file.

4. Restart the RealTime service.
