PI-OASyS interface configuration

There are several steps to correctly configure the interaction between PI and the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA system. The PI-OASyS interface installation is included in the RealTime database (RTDB) service installation and is not discussed here.

It is assumed that the PI-OASyS interface, PI-SDK, and the PI Buffer Subsystem have been installed on the RTDB host. The PI Server should also have been installed on a separate computer called PI Server node.

The process of configuring PI-OASyS interface is as follows:

1. Create a Connection to the PI Server.

2. In the %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings directory, either create or open the PIOASyS.json file. Edit the file.

3. Configure the Global Digital Sets.

4. Create Data Quality Digital State Set.

5. Configure the PI Tags.
