The DNAChangeset command line tool can be used to add a display change into an existing display type changeset.
To add a display change into an existing display type changeset
-
On the desktop, double-click the Windows PowerShell for DNA shortcut.
Windows PowerShell for DNA opens.
-
Execute the following commands:
set-silo RealTime
dnachangeset add --type <type> --changeset <changeset id> --path <path>
Where:
-
--type <type> is mandatory for each command and describes a valid changeset type (for example, --type display).
Note: A combination of changesets can be packaged together in the same package file. Currently, only display type changesets are supported by the DNAChangeset tool with the add command.
-
--changeset <changeset id> is the identification number of the changeset to add the display to (for example, an input of 3 would add the display to changeset 3).
-
--path <path> is the valid path to a display file.
Note: All file types for easy eXtended Operator Station (ezXOS) displays are supported, with the exception of .update files. The prefix part of the path must meet the prefix condition defined in the ManagementOfChange configuration settings from the ManagementOfChangeSourceDisplayFilePathPrefix key.
For example:
--path C:\AVEVA\DNA\Shared\elements\displays\custom\myDisplay.xem
--path C:\AVEVA\DNA\Shared\elements\displays\custom\myDisplay.xec
