Associate a station with a site

Follow this procedure to associate a station record with a site record. When points associated with a station enter an alarm state, the system rolls the alarm up to the site level

To associate a station with a site

1. Navigate to the siteStationJoin Table Edit dialog box

   

2. Select Table > Insert Row.

   A new row appears in the siteStationJoin Table Edit dialog box.

   

3. Double-click the Add icon in the row header of the new row.

   The siteStationJoin Row Details dialog box opens.

   

4. In the Site field, enter or select the name of the site record you want to join to the record listed in the Station field.

5. In the Station field, enter or select the name of the desired station record.

   The Manual Station Template and Station Template fields are used by Display Framework, a separately acquired product.

6. Select Apply.

   Repeat the above steps to create additional records as desired.

   Note: Typically, sites contain numerous stations. A single station, meanwhile, can belong to more than one site.
