Delay the On/Off Delay Alarm Icon Behavior

Note: For information on overriding default configuration settings, refer to Modify configuration settings.

You can delay the flag.alarm field and alarm bell icon from changing instantly when using the On/Off Delay enhancement. When enabled, the alarm icon indication will also be delayed with the alarm entry reported in the alarm summary, as specified by the value for On/Off Delay settings.

Note: The setting is disabled by default and applies only to analog and rate points.

To delay the On/Off Delay alarm icon behavior

1. In the %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings directory, either create or open the RealTime_FlagAlarmDelay.json file:

2. Change the value from false to true.

3. Save the file.

4. Restart the RealTime service.
