Synchronize the RealTime database (RTDB) between zones

You can use the Rebase (ReSync) procedures to synchronize the RealTime databases (RTDB) between different Management of Change (MoC) zones.

To synchronize the RTDB between zones

  1. Execute the steps in Perform a Rebase (ReSync) on the source (production) zone to gather the required set of files from the Source system.

Note: There will be no impact to the Source zone during the Rebase procedure. All steps can be performed while all AVEVA Enterprise SCADA services are running.

  2. Execute the steps in Perform a Rebase (ReSync) on the target (deployment, test, development) zones to synchronize the files on the Target system with the ones copied from the Source system.

Note: Target zones will experience outages while the Rebase procedure is being performed. The Target zones will be brought up with a complete match of the Source zone RTDB (with the exception of excluded tables), including both configuration and operation fields. Target zones will also lose all RTDB change tracking history (changesets, changeset record entries, and input files).
