Enable data summary for a collect record Timeline/TimeSeries database

The following procedure enables summarization of data in the Timeline database for a collect point.

1. In the Advanced Database Editor (ADE), expand the desired point table. For example: Analog.

2. Double-click the desired point to open the Row Edit dialog box.

3. Select Historical to open the collect Table Edit dialog box.

   

4. Select to select the Summary checkbox of the desired point.

   

5. Double-click the desired point.

   The collect Row Edit dialog box appears.

   

6. In the Collect Type field, select one of the following:

   • sample

   • exception

7. Select the Enable Summary checkbox.

8. Select the Day Summary from Device checkbox.

9. Select Save.
