Analog Cutoff

This application enables you to set low or high cutoff values for analog and rate points, with the aim of avoiding false readings from remotes. If the host receives a value that is below or above the low or high cutoff value, respectively, it discards the value and uses the user-defined "replacement" value.

The flag.isClamped field in the analog record will be set to yes when the value is overriden with the replacement value.

Note: While the system does not automatically generate an alarm or log an event when replacement values are used, you can set up such notifications via the available alarm limit features.
