If you need to build a connector for a new database type, it must inherit from the DPConnector class, and have a Datapump_RegisterConnections function. Use the XMLFile connector source as an example.

To create new database connectors

  1. Install the licensed client libraries on each server that is going to run Datapump executables.

  2. Use the DatapumpConnectors.Examples.sln SLN file to build a %DNADataRoot%\Historical\bin\libdp<db>.dll file.

  3. In the %DNADataRoot%\Historical\config\settings directory, either create or open the Datapump_Extensions.json file on the systems that will be running Datapump executables, and add the new connector configuration.
