The genet table is used by the General Electric (GE) Service Request Transport Protocol (SRTP) Driver for OASyS. The records in the genet table are used to configure protocol-specific aspects of the query and response cycle between the primary station and the remotes. The genet table contains the following internal fields:

Internal Field Name

Data Type

Description

dataset

doas_dset_slot

This field indicates the dataset to which the record is assigned. Datasets are used to associate the record with the privileges assigned for each system mode. Once a record is assigned to a dataset value, the dataset can only be changed to a value for which the system has a privilege record.

dual_cpu

oas_boolean_t

Does the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) contain a redundant Central Processing Unit (CPU)?

dual_cpu_type

systype

The model of dual CPU.

range.genet_poll_rge[0-24].endadr

unsigned int

The ending register of the poll range.

group

groupslot

This field shows the group that this point is associated with for alarming.

range.genet_poll_rge[0-24].ileave

unsigned char

The frequency at which the primary station will poll this range.

is_prim

oas_boolean_t

Is this record connected to the main CPU?

range.genet_poll_rge[0-24].intg_updte

oas_boolean_t

Scan the data defined by the poll block during an integrity scan?

model

genet_PLC

The Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) model.

range.genet_poll_rge[0-24].mtype

genet_memtype

The memory type that the poll queries.

name

pntname

The name of the genet record.

spareB

oas_boolean_t

Use the backup CPU connection?

range.genet_poll_rge[0-24].startadr

unsigned int

The starting register from which to poll the data.
