Compressor performance plot

The compressor performance plot is the functional component subject to the most significant load and timing constraints.
The performance curves are translated into easy eXtended Operator Station (ezXOS) database using the existing translation tool. For more information, refer to the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA HMI Display Builder Guide. The performance curve set to be drawn is retrieved from the RealTime database (RTDB) when a plot display is opened. The operating point plot is generated from data retrieved from the RTDB (current operating point display) or the Historical database (Historical operating point display).
The compressor performance plots are not subject to the same requirements for performance as typical station schematics. The speed with which compressor performance curves can be drawn is directly affected by the:
-
Number of representative curve points configured.
-
Number of speed vs.efficiency curves drawn.
-
Time required to determine the curve set from the RTDB.
Performance curves are typically drawn within 2-3 seconds.
The operating point plot is also subject to some performance constraints. The operating point plot is affected by the:
-
Number of points plotted.
-
Time required to extract the operating point data from the Historical database or the RTDB.
The current operating point plot, including the performance curves, is typically drawn within 2-3 seconds. However, it is restricted to displaying the four most recently sampled points.
The Historical operating point plot requires additional draw time as the operating point history is retrieved from the Historical database.
