The Additional Properties tab is used to define specific attributes of the Layered Products. The items in this tab are described below to help you configure the Area of Responsibility (AOR) Group.

The Layered Product detailed in this section is the RealTime service attribute associated with the AOR Group. The RealTime service associates a spooler with each AOR Group to print/log event messages generated from points that belong to the AOR Group. If the Event Spooler is not specified, then the first Event Spooler defined in the RealTime spooler table will be used.

To configure the Additional Properties tab

  1. Select a spooler from the Events Spooler name dropdown menu. This will be the spooler used to record events for the AOR Group.

    Note: The same event spooler can be selected by any number of the AOR Groups.

  2. In the Suppression Duration (min) field, enter the number of minutes that alarms should be suppressed on analog, status, and rate points associated with this group.
