Create a New Authority

You can create a new authority by following the procedure outlined below:

1. Open the Network Management Console (NMC).

2. Right-click Authorities on the left pane of the NMC and select New Authority.

   The Create Authority Wizard appears.

   

3. Select Next.

   The Create Authority Wizard - General dialog box appears.

   

4. Enter a New Authority name.

5. (Optional) Enter a Description.

6. Select Next.

   The Create Authority Wizard - Authority Property Summary dialog box appears.

   

7. Verify that the Authority name and the Description are correct.

8. Select Next.

   The Create Authority Wizard - Complete dialog box appears.

   

9. Select Finish to create the new AVEVA Enterprise SCADA Authority .
