Follow the steps outlined below to start, stop, or fail over the Historical service. For an alternative method of failing over, see Fail over the Historical service.

To start, stop, or fail over the Historical service

  1. Right-click the Administrator Pager icon in the system tray and select Start NMC.

    The Network Management Console opens.

  2. Expand OASyS DNA.

  3. Expand Systems.

  4. Locate the name of the system.

  5. Expand Computers.

  6. Locate the Historical computer.

  7. Expand Services.

  8. Right-click Historical.

  9. Select Startup, Failover, or Shutdown.
