Region alarm roll-ups

For each region record, the monitorAlarmRollUp application periodically rolls ups the alarm counts for each alarm category based on the existing alarm counts of all sites associated with that region.
The following information is kept in each region record:
-
Highest active alarm severity at the region (mostSevAlm)
-
Color of highest active alarm severity (mostSevAlmCol)
-
Number of alarms of each severity (alarm_counts)
Note: As with the site record, during the roll-up of alarms the region record just stores the above information in the RealTime database (RTDB). The region record itself neither flashes nor changes color.
Refer to the following table to determine which element in the alarm_counts array field contains the count for which severity.

For more information on the Alarm Count Index associated with alarm severities, refer to Station alarm roll-ups.
To view the relationship between fields on the Region Summary window, which displays the number of alarms for each alarm category, and the corresponding internal fields, refer to the table in Station alarm roll-ups. For example, the path to the internal region table field for UnAcked Low would be <region>.<record>.alarm_counts[5].
