Remove additional instances of the Open Platform Communication (OPC) server

Note: For information on overriding default configuration settings, refer to Modify configuration settings.

To remove additional instances of the Open Platform Communication (OPC) server, follow the steps below in the order specified.

To remove additional instances of the OPC server

1. Open an elevated PowerShell session.

2. Execute the following commands:

   set-silo RealTime

   Run Uninstall-OPCServer.ps1.

3. When prompted, enter the name of the holding directory of the OPC server you want to unregister.

   For example, My.OPC.TestServer.1.

4. When prompted to proceed with the uninstallation of the OPC server instance, enter Y.

5. If required, you can now delete the instance directory.
