Add comments at the top of the form (DataSetTable)

To add comments at the top of the form (DataSetTable)

1. Navigate to the following directory and open the XML file for the form to which you want to add groups (as per our example, the file in question is farm.xml or farm.Alter.xml):

   %DNADataRoot%\ADE\config\ADE\DBEdit\Schema\[baseline | custom]

2. In the file, locate the DataSetTable element under which you want to add the comment:

   <DataSetTable

   Name="farms"

   Description="Farms Table">

   <Comment

   Name="FormTop"

   CommentText="This comment is at the top of the form.">

   </Comment>

   <Field

   ...

3. Save and close the file.

4. On the desktop, double-click the Windows PowerShell for DNA shortcut.

   Windows PowerShell for DNA opens.

5. Execute the DBEditDisplaySchemaMerge command (refer to Merge all DBEdit XML files).

   The new comment appears on the form.
