Operating point data collection and storage

Short-term Historical data representing the instantaneous operating point is collected to the minute table in the Historical Compressor Performance Monitoring (CPM) database based on a collect period that is configured through the compressor table (refer to Configure compressor details).
If the operating point is in an alarm state, the configured collect period is overridden and short term data is collected once per minute. Long-term Historical data is collected to the hour table in the Historical CPM database at the top of each hour, providing an hourly snapshot of the operating point. CPM supports the maintenance of 7 days of short-term data and 6-12 months of long-term data online. Because the data is stored in Historical database (DB), it is subject to the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA Archive and De-archive processes.
Both short- and long-term Historical data can be displayed on the Compressor Performance Plot and Operating Point Table windows, as described in the "Compressor Performance Monitoring" user documentation for Controllers. This data can also be accessed by other displays and reports constructed using the tools provided with AVEVA Enterprise SCADA.
