Save a Decode Template as a new row

This procedure is similar to Create a Decode Template from an existing Decode Template. The new template retains the name, description, and parameters of the original template. The Data Payload Processor (DPP), however, resets the parameters' configuration settings in the new template.

To save a Decode Template as a new row

1. In the Template Define tab of the Data Payload Processor (DPP) Config Tool window, right-click in the Name cell of the Decode Template of interest and select Save as new Row.

   The new Decode Template appears as the last row on the Template Define tab.

2. To edit the new Decode Template, right-click in the Name cell and select Edit Template.

   The Decode Method Template dialog box opens.
