Create a new service for a system

As an Administrator, you can add new services or delete existing services from your AVEVA Enterprise SCADA domain. The Create Service Wizard allows you to add new services to your system. To create a new service for a system using the Create Service Wizard, follow the steps outlined below.

To create a new service for a system

1. Expand the Systems folder, then expand the Systems Object node.

2. Right-click the Services folder, and then select New Service.

   The Create New Service Wizard dialog box appears.

   

3. Select Next to proceed to the next dialog box.

   The Create New Service Wizard - General dialog box appears.

   

4. From the Select a Service dropdown menu, Select a Service type and fill in the remaining field information. Select Next.

   There are seven dialog boxes, including the first and last, associated with the Create Service Wizard.

   You can select Back at any time to take you back to a dialog box to review or change information.

5. Fill in the required information on each dialog box and select Next to continue.

   Repeat this step until you reach the last dialog box.

6. Select Finish to complete the creation process.
