Attach a dnlist record to a remote record

Follow this procedure to associate up to twenty dnlist records with a remote record.

The Download List tab in the remote Row Edit dialog box is opened through the remote table listing in the Advanced Database Editor (ADE). For general information on ADE, and further information on the remote table, refer to the Advanced Database Editor (ADE) Administrator documentation and volume 1 of the RealTime Administrator documentation, respectively.

To attach a dnlist record to a remote record

1. Navigate to the Download List tab in the remote Row Edit dialog box for the Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) of interest.

   

2. If you want to change the word order from big endian to little endian for 32-bit data types (unsigned/signed 32 int and float), select Least significant word first.

   Note: The word order change only occurs if the Type of Register field on the Download List Configuration dialog box is set to 16 Bit.

3. In the Download List field, enter or select the name of the dnlist record containing the list of points you want to download to the RTU.

4. Repeat the above step for additional dnlist records as desired.
