Follow this procedure if the listening system connects directly to ports on TCPListener.
To configure the TCPListener Extended Markup Language (XML) file for relay service mode
-
Start TCPListener.
-
Select View Configuration And Log.
A notepad file opens showing the default configuration file.

-
In the <TcpReTransmissionEnabled> section, replace No with Yes if you want to forward the packets of "TCP Retransmission" to the Listen Only system.
Note: If left as No, or if the line is deleted, no packet forwarding occurs.
-
Delete the <WritePort> section.
-
In the <RelayService> section, configure the TCPListener software to work as a client of the OASyS DNA Socket Server Relay Service:
-
<Ip>172.22.26.218</Ip> – Enter the IP address of the OASyS DNA Socket Server Relay Service.
-
<Port>5006</Port> – Enter the port number of the OASyS DNA Socket Server Relay Service.

-
-
In the <Filter> section, configure the packet from the Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) to AVEVA Enterprise SCADA as indicated:
-
<SourceIP>172.22.26.24</SourceIP> – Enter the IP address of the RTU.
-
<SourcePort>10001</SourcePort> – Enter the port number of the RTU.
-
<DestinationIP>172.22.26.218</DestinationIP> – Enter the IP address of the host.
-
<Roundway>Yes</Roundway> – To additionally capture the reverse traffic of the filter (in other words, from AVEVA Enterprise SCADA to the RTU), replace No with Yes.
When TCPlistener encounters one packet with the configured SourceIP, SourcePort, and DestinationIP, it forwards the packet to the Configured Port.

For additional connections:
-
Copy the <WriteInterface> section.
-
Paste the copied section just before the closing of the <NetworkListener> section.
-
Update the new <WriteInterface> section as per steps 4 and 6 above.
Note: Ensure the <Port> numbers within the <RelayService> sections are unique.
-
Repeat the above steps for additional connections.
-
-
Save the file to a folder with write permissions (for example, %DNADataRoot%\Tools\config).
