The DNAChangeset command line tool allows you to close a changeset.
To close a changeset
-
On the desktop, double-click the Windows PowerShell for DNA shortcut.
Windows PowerShell for DNA opens.
-
Execute the following commands:
set-silo RealTime
dnachangeset close --type <type> --changeset <changeset id>
Where:
-
--type <type> is mandatory for each command and describes a valid changeset type (for example, --type display).
Note: A combination of changesets can be packaged together in the same package file. Currently, only RealTime database (RTDB) (realtime) and display type changesets are supported by the DNAChangeset tool.
-
--changeset <changeset id> is the identification number of an open changeset you would like to close (for example, an input of 3 would close the open changeset 3).
Notes: After executing the dnachangeset close command, the <changeset id> provided will be marked as closed. Attempting to attach changes, or assign users to this changeset in the future will result in an error indicating the changeset is closed.
Closing a changeset will release any visible locks in the Advanced Database Editor (ADE) after it is refreshed.
RTDB (realtime) changesets marked as closed will not appear in the Available Changesets list from the ADE.
