LMSDel can specify a Management of Change (MoC) changeset when connecting to the RealTime database (RTDB). MoC adds a command line parameter to the LMSDel application.
Use the following parameter to associate executions of the LMSDel tool with a changeset:
-
-c <changeset id> is used to specify the changeset id when running LMSDel to record the changes associated with this LMSDel command run.
Best Practice: Only one execution of the LMSDel entry should be included per changeset.
Notes: The LMSDel tool cannot delete a non-owning pipeline or a pipeline that does not have an associated dataset. Use the Batch Tracking Compiler (BTC) tool to assign a dataset to a pipeline first if one is not configured. For more information, refer to the AVEVA Pipeline Operations for Liquids Administrator documentation.
If permissive mode is disabled and the command is run without specifying a changeset id, you will receive an error message indicating the change is not permitted in the current mode.
