Use the LibOPCServerOverride example

Note: For information on overriding default configuration settings, see Modify configuration settings.

To use the libOPCServerOverride example

1. Create a RealTime Developer Environment (refer to the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA Shared Components Developer documentation).

2. Open the OPCServer.Examples.sln from your workspace created in step 1 in Visual Studio.

   For example, C:\OASySDev\Workspace\RealTime\source\OPCServer.Examples.sln.

3. Make the necessary changes, and build the project.

4. In the %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings directory, either create or open the OPCDAServerConfig.json file.

5. Add the following line to the file:

   "OverridePlugin": ".\libOPCServerOverride.dll"

6. Save the file.

7. Restart the Open Platform Communication (OPC) server to start using the new libOPCOverride change.
